Message par Ours » lun. nov. 17, 2014 11:19 am

Hello,

la news du jour :

Quelques petits dessins pour bien comprendre où placer ses pieds dans la phase du take off et de préparation du bottom turn.

Some drawings to understand clearly where locate your feet on the board during take of to prepare the bottom turn.

Very nice. Now, could you do the same thing for a longer board, maybe one in the 9-6 to 10-0 range? Thanks!

p.s. since i can't get a Neverstick here in the U.S., i am going to give this a go: https://us.jimmylewis.com/p/6825/BlackAndBlueMachine

Hi Erik,
That's a very similar outline, to my 2014 GONG 9'6 Soul, although the Soul has maybe less curve in the rails, I'm also using an 11 inch GONG fin, an amazing noseriding old school board, I think you'd love it, Would it be possible for the guys at GONG to send one to you ?

hey jonysan: the JL comes with an 11" fin itself, so hopefully that'll do just fine. the board is supposed to arrive today. right now, i'm just praying for waves to try it out on. wish me luck!

Erik, Good luck with your new board,
about the foot positioning, I'm sure L'ours will do a foot positioning article for the long board users at some time,
Have you watched the "longer" board videos in the Movies section of the site ? "Too long" has great riding , 360's, drop knee turns, in not easy conditions,
Also "1 NFA"
