Hello Gong Family,
I'm here looking for advices about my next Sup surf board.
I've started practicing with Sup surfing one year ago after a couple years spent on allround i-sups, my first and current Sup surf board is an old Fanatic Pro Wave 9.3' x 30.5" x 134L, I'm 1.70m x 82kg at the moment.
I live in Sardinia, mostly surfing in beach breaks spots, so waves heights can go from 0.4m till 2 meters approx.
I'm actually looking for a shorter, more stable board than my actual fanatic, for all those windy & choppy days in which we get smaller waves with a relatively short period (4.5 to 6 seconds max).
I had the chance to try an RRD Cotan 7.11 x 31 x 125L, finding myself immediately comfortable and able to catch waves.
So after this positive experience I feel like a shorter board with better maneuverability and ease of turning will help me increase my catch ratio during those days.
Now I'm wondering which board can suit me better between the MOB 7.6 Cool @120L and the Karmen 8.4x30 @120L.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may give about those boards
Looking for a new board, maybe a MOB

Hello MrDoxi,
To me, according the conditions you describe, the MOB will suit you perfectly !
Its shape is made for these waves ! choppy , windy from 40cm to man size. It accelerate very fast, and pass the sections easily.
For sure a shorter board will gives you more maneuverability !
It feels like a skateboard under your feet !
It is a wide boards, so offers lots of stability , a plus when its choppy !
What is your size / Weight ?
