Hello.
I like to buy a new Board.
The last 2 years I SUPed on a BIC Airsup 10".
An Allround-Bord with 30" wide and 6" thick.
Im 1.85cm and 90kg.
The BIC was always a really good choise for me.
I used it on Lakes, Rivers and even in small Atlantic Waves.
But for 95% on lakes. And so I like a Second Board. And I decided for the 12.6 class.
The CM 12.6 (not the Race Version) is my Favorit. But I'm a little bit
confused about the 28" wide. Is this board stable enuogh for me?
Even in some "choppy/windy" conditions on gerater Lakes?
On the BIC I feel very comfortable even at SUPing on 3-4 bft.
Im not a beginner...

Re: Question about the CM 12.6
Dear Knefi , I have no doubt that you will feel OK on the CM 12'6 , because you have 2 years of experience of suping . I have this board and there is no worry of stability , specially on lakes , and even on a choppy windy lake . The usual problem is to be pushed by a side wind , wich you already have on your BIC because of the height of 6' . Enjoy ! nice glide (with the help of the 28' of wideness) , quite light , and easy to put in the bag !

I Knefi,
Few year ago, I started SUP from some months on a 9'7x32 longboard, I swapped with a friend board 12"6x29. After few minutes it was okay...

Re: Question about the CM 12.6
Thank you both for your help.
I`m sure that the 28" won't be a problem...
But I read a lot of test of 12.6 Isups, and all boards with a smaller wide than 30" were classified as a little instable. That made me a little bit insecure.
@herve85: Would you choose this Board again? And why?
