HOW TO : take care of your surfboards

Message par WillySUP » ven. avr. 06, 2018 11:26 am

Unlike you, your Board does not appreciate the sun. Once your session is over, instinctively in your Anti-UV Bag.
Like this you will be protecting your foam core from heat and also avoid the yellowing of the resin.

In summer, it is advisable to leave the car window open slightly for some air circulation. The only risk is later seeing your car driving around without you in it…..;), please just take the time to get your Board out of the direct sun and heat if it is over the dashboard, the heat from the window is doubled, even a bag can suffer it.

Once you arrive home get your Board out of the bag. You’ll avoid humidity image and osmosis by letting it breath. Take the time to go over it with a keen eye checking for any dings that might of happened during a fall. It doesn’t take to long and you’ll be able to admire its beauty.

Looking after your Board doesn’t take much time or effort. Take care of her and she’ll take care of you ;)!
